More details have emerged about the collaboration between Rob Halford of Judas Priest and metal queen, Doro Pesch. In an interview posted by Blabbermouth.net, she said that the recorded “Total Eclipse Of The Heart” for her new album. They actually recorded two songs and this is the one that was Halford’s idea.
The Jim Steinman written song, was a global hit for Bonnie Tyler in 1983.
They ran into each other last year in France at Hellfest and he suggested they record together. About that she said, “It came out so great. When you hear it, you can tell Rob loves the song and I’m so happy. Two duets, man. That’s more than I can ask for. I’m a lucky baby, I tell you.”
It will be released as a single on the same day her album comes out, October 27.
