After a year of releasing singles on each full moon, Peter Gabriel has finally shared details about his new album, i/o.

The press release describes it as 12 tracks of “grace, gravity and great beauty,” and will be available on CD, Blu-ray, and Vinyl on December 1.

He recorded a lot of it at his home studio with musicians that he’s worked with throughout his career and includes mass strings of the New Blood Orchestra.

i/o will be Gabriel’s first album release in more than 20 years.
