Mr. Big‘s lead singer, Eric Martin says the band is deep into writing their next album.

In an interview posted by Blabbermouth.net, he said, “I’ve been going back and forth to Portland, Oregon, where our guitarist, Paul Gilbert lives. And we’ve been writing and recording everything. And so far, I wanna say, we have 10-13 songs so far.”

There was no mention of a possible release date. The band has been on their final world tour this year. They’ve been performing in its entirety, their 1991 platinum-selling, breakthrough album, Lean Into It.
