Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts has pushed back its already postponed “Stadium Tour” for 2022. The revamped itinerary has yet to be rolled out. The original dates for the 32-show “Stadium Tour” were to kick off on June 18th, 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida, but put on hold due to the ongoing pandemic.

All the acts posted a message on they social media outlets, which read:

To all our loyal fans, we wanted to let you know that we learned today that the tour is getting moved to 2022. This is the only way to ensure that we can play ALL of the dates for ALL of you who have purchased tickets.

We appreciate you hanging in there and can’t wait to get back on stage and bring The Stadium Tour to all of our fans. It’s going to be one for the history books!”

Frontman Vince Neil said a while back he wanted Mötley Crüe to go out the way it came in: “Y’know, we didn’t want to be one of those bands that maybe have one guy left in it or somebody’s brother or something like that. Y’know, we wanted to be — we wanted to go out with the four founding members of Mötley Crüe and go out on top, and leave a legacy of a band called Mötley Crüe.”

Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen told us he and his bandmates always look forward to playing their hits out on the road: “Every night when someone’s singing along — especially when there’s a lot of young kids there, 16-year-olds and that — it is fresh, actually makes you feel really good when there’s a whole new breed of people just singing away to songs that you’ve done. It doesn’t really matter whether it’s a new song or an old song, it’s still our song, so it’s a huge compliment. It really is, it’s the best thing in the world.”
