During the final night of Zach Bryan’s Quittin’ Time Tour’s three-night residency at LA’s Crypto.com Arena, the country star brought out special guest John Mayer to play an unreleased song, “Better Days,” as well as Bryan’s 2020 gem, “Revival.” The live collaboration made a big impact on the fans who were lucky to witness it, as well as on Mayer himself. During a new episode of his radio show, Life with John Mayer, the guitarist praised Bryan’s live performance, calling it, “one of the most incredible things I’ve seen in years.”

Mayer shared that initially he just reached out to see if he could attend the show, and Bryan asked if he’d like to perform together. “He’s cracked some code that I have been waiting for someone to crack,” Mayer said. “He’s tapped into a thing with people that should give everyone hope.
