Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth dropped a solo song titled “Manda Bala.” It was recorded in 2007 with guitarist John 5 for an album that has never been released.

It was one of five songs Roth included in 2020 on The Roth Project, an online comic that he narrated with music from John 5 on guitar and bass.

About recording it, John 5 said, “We had so much fun doing it. And it’s one of my fondest memories.”
