Born and bred in Flint, Kelly has managed to build a lengthy broadcasting career. Spending time at over 15 radio stations, in four different states since 1982. While also doing Top 40 and country radio, he’s spent most of his time doing classic rock radio. Kelly happily paid tuition to the University of Michigan before graduating from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business – Data Processing. Kelly is the proud father of Joshua, who lives in North Hollywood and currently works as a storyboard artist within the animation world in Los Angeles, CA. … while also dabbling as a freelance cartoon illustrator. Kelly resides in Swartz Creek. When he’s not playing the classic rock, his free time is spent on the golf course or watching a sporting event of some kind. He also dabbles with remodeling projects around his house. In the last couple years, he has completed a “man cave” in the basement, remodeled his kitchen and completed a master bathroom re-do. Outdoor projects are targeted thru 2026 including a front porch rebuild.
