Flint’s Classic Rock – 103.9 The Fox

Rod Stewart has announced the cancellation and rescheduling of additional U.S. tour dates due to his ongoing recovery from the flu. “I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu,” Sir Rod wrote on Instagram on Saturday. “So sorry my friends. I’m devastated and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to my fans. I’ll be back on stage and will see you soon.” The 80-year-old musician – who recently received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 American Music Awards –  has canceled four concerts, including three Las Vegas residency shows and a Nevada performance, while rescheduling two California dates for September. Despite these setbacks, Stewart is still scheduled to appear at the Glastonbury Festival in the U.K. on June 29, with the set featuring a Faces reunion alongside Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood. Stewart will then embark on a series of shows across North America, South America, and Europe for the rest of the year. (Billboard)
