People ask, “Ernie, how did you get into radio?” Well, I remember standing on the corner at midnight, trying to get my courage up. There was this long lovely dancer in a club downtown, used to love to watch her do her stuff. I met her on Main Street. She said, “Get lost creep! I don’t go out with ugly guys.” She didn’t say much more … maybe a four-letter expletive and “off”. I knew with a face like this it was radio or bust; and here I am happy to be playing the best darn music recorded in the history of the world on 103.9 The FOX. Yes, my last name is really Fox.
