He has described Twisted Sister as one of his favorite bands and said Snider gave him his full support before the plan moved ahead. Bach also said the conversation was emotional, with both singers recognizing what the moment means for the band and its fans.
Snider has explained that arthritis and other physical issues have made the demands of a high-energy show harder to manage. Rather than perform at less than full strength, he chose to step back.
That decision opens the door for Twisted Sister to continue the anniversary run with Bach handling vocals on select dates. The shows mark a rare new chapter for a band whose legacy has long been tied to Snider’s presence.
