I’m sure you have a friend with an unusual hobby like carving egg shells, javelin catching, handcuff collecting. ex. I can also guess when I posed that question to you a name popped into your head. To almost everyone, I am that friend. Let’s not talk about all of my weird hobbies (I have a ton and I am not joking surely I will get into more in other blogs) instead lets focus on one, soap making. This hobby of mine puts me in a minority of a minority. Odds are you don’t know anyone that makes soap and if you do I am guessing it is not a dude. Having a hobby that is out of the norm is cool to me, almost along the same lines as loving a band others have not discovered. For years I have been making my own soap, now that I am thinking about it I have been making soap for over ten years, but I am getting off track (time to focus). If you are asking yourself why make soap? I have multiple reasons why. Instead of listing all of them off I will post a few. It’s fun, I always have a gift to give and it’s something everyone needs. I need to point out this is not normal soap. Most, if not all the soap you buy at a store nowadays more closely resembles laundry detergent then a real bar of soap (read the ingredients if you don’t believe me). With me being a geek and a guy I wanted to make soap I wanted. I would like to keep writing this blog but as I am looking at the clock I need to go to the radio station now to play radio DJ. You can see below some of the soaps I have made, talk to you soon.
