Flint’s Classic Rock – 103.9 The Fox

Today I faced a problem that most women face everyday. It’s easy to say that I am a t-shirt and jeans guy, this time of year I’m a t-shirt and shorts guy but you get my point. I am going to a wedding next weekend and I have nothing to wear that my wife deemed suitable for the occasion. Off to the store I go to buy anything that would not end up landing me in hot water. A button up shirt in my mind was the way to go and I could always find some pair of shorts or pants at my house that would tie the look together (as in does not have holes in it or have camo pattern.) When it comes to male bodies they are much like female bodies, I am not going to have the same proportions as a 120 pound guy just because I am bigger. As many chicks know a lot of clothes are all cookie cutter S/M/L/XL nothing changes just how big they are. They do not factor in a shirt for a 100lb girl, when you scale it up to fit a 200lb girl you might want to increase the bust line or many other measurements. That is also true with men and the problem I had today. I have a large chest, that’s how I am built, like a tank. Not only do I have a large chest from genetics but I have exacerbated the situation from pumping iron. I am a XXL in a t-shirt, I love how they are not stiff just put them on and go. When it comes to button up shirts well I found out I am a 4XL today only because of my chest. When I tried on a XXL it was fine in the gut but when it came to the chest, it was a no go. Also the 4XL that fit my chest, I could squeeze a five course meal under the shirt and you could not notice. Long story short I grabbed the first polo shirt I saw and stormed up to the cashier out of frustration. I guess I am stuck in the stretchy fabric world from now on.
