103.9 The Fox wants to send Santa to the Troops, and we need your help! We’re collecting cards, letters, toiletries, entertainment and holiday items, as well as treats and snacks to send to our troops deployed overseas this holiday season (see the full list below)!

STARTING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2019: Drop off locations include Menard’s in Clio and Davison, and the Studios of 103.9 The Fox on Miller Road in Flint.

Items that are needed include:

Cards & Letters: These are the most important items we can send the troops.

Holiday Items: Garland, window clings, candy canes, non-breakable ornaments, antlers and stockings.

Treats & Snacks: Beef jerky, Slim Jims, coffee, hot chocolate packets, herbal teas, instant drink mixes, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, tuna in foil pouches (no cans), protein powder, protein bars, gum, hard candy, granola bars, power bars, cereal bars, dry soup, nuts, dried fruit, microwavable popcorn, mac & cheese, cheese & cracker packs, instant oatmeal packs, individual cereal boxes.

Entertainment Items: Batteries, DVDs, Xbox games, Playstation games, pens & mechanical pencils, crossword puzzles, word search books, dominoes, playing cards, poker chips, dice, board games, Nerf footballs, sports equipment, Frisbees and electronic hand held games.

Toiletries: Baby wipes, body wash, liquid soap, facial cleanser, feminine hygiene products, hair gel, combs, brushes, bobby pins, eye drops, nasal spray, deodorant, razor blades, cotton swabs, band-aids, first aid kits, lip balm, chap stick, baby powder, foot powder, sunblock, hand & body lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, breath mints, cough drops and shoe insole cushions.

PLEASE NOTE – THE FOLLOWING ITEMS CAN NOT BE SHIPPED:   GLASS BOTTLES/JARS, ALCOHOL-BASED PRODUCTS, AEROSOL CANS/SPRAYS, EXPIRED FOOD, HOMEMADE FOOD, LIGHTERS/MATCHES/LIGHTER FLUID, HOTEL SAMPLES, RELIGIOUS MATERIALS, PORNOGRAPHIC MATERIALS, VHS TAPES OR HARD-COVER BOOKS.
