Jeff is a 36-year radio and television veteran, returning to WRSR in 2012 as program director and air personality. He launched the classic rock format on 103.9 The FOX on September 14, 2001 and was the station's program director and morning show host on the station until 2009. He served as operations manager of the four-station group in Flint from 2004-08, and was named one of “Radio’s Top 10 Program Directors” by Radio Ink Magazine in 2008. Prior to that, Jeff worked on the air in Flint at another radio station group and at WSMH-TV 66 as their first booth announcer. He worked in Saginaw radio from 1996-97. Jeff also spent ten years in Detroit with CBS Radio as operations manager, news anchor and afternoon host, and at WXON-TV as booth announcer. He also worked in Washington, DC for Great Media, Inc., hosting an evening radio show n 1995. Jeff's television experience goes back to 1991 as executive producer and host of the television show, Michigan Home Magazine. The show received two awards in 1992. Jeff has been the “image” voice for many stations around the country and has voiced and produced hundreds of radio & television commercials, industrial videos and documentaries. He also appears as a spoken word artist on "Fools of Damnation, The Embrace That Smothers Part IX" on "The Devine Conspiracy" album, released in 2007 by the Dutch Symphonic Metal Band, "Epica" Jeff also worked as an account executive in broadcast sales from 2009 to 2013 at Citadel Broadcasting in Flint and Saginaw. He is very community active and served on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including two terms as president of Old Newsboys of Flint, Incorporated, founded in 1924. Jeff and his wife of 42 years, Ruth, have three grown children and one grandchild. Jeff studied electronics technology and theory at Bell & Howell Schools in the early 70's. His hobbies include woodworking, fishing and spending time at his northern Michigan getaway during the summer months.
